Though she originally came from a track and field background, she transitioned into weightlifting, becoming Australia’s top-ranked female weightlifter in 2016. In addition, she secured a spot for Australia in the two-man bobsleigh at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing and won gold in the 58-kg weightlifting category at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
