On January 4th 2022, CrossFit fans were shocked when the internal email sent to CrossFit LLC staff by Roza detailed: “I have made the difficult decision to change the leadership of the Sport team to best support CrossFit’s go-forward plans, and Dave Castro will be leaving the business.”

But five months after being fired from his position as General Manager of Sport for CrossFit Inc. and the face of the CrossFit Open. The Morning Chalk Up has written and confirmed through two sources who attended an affiliate gathering with Castro on Monday that Dave Castro is returning to CrossFit HQ.
Dave Castro is coming back and that is a very good thing for Diablo and all of CrossFit. I’m not sure what his role will be, but I know that he is keenly interested in the success of affiliates and CrossFit and the CrossFit Games – in that order.

Later, they posted on their instagram that Dave was returning.
CrossFit HQ is yet to respond.
So what does CrossFit HQ say about all that?
